About

Welcome to Watchlist

Outline

Mission: Watchlist sets out to profile the most exciting creatives of a generation; from film-makers, to illustrators, to graffitos and entrepreneurs. It’s about the people behind cutting edge ideas, design and creativity.

Vision: Our vision is to build an independent media brand that represents the most outstanding talent of a generation. We’re here for an intelligent young audience that puts a premium on originality and ideas.

Purpose: It’s a platform celebrating bold new talent. Watchlist breaks up mainstream media’s love affair with the PR machine. We’re here to challenge the status quo. To inspire. To investigate. To encourage innovation, and to generate excitement about the creative industry’s brightest prospects. Watchlist sets itself apart from mainstream media as an imaginative, independent magazine, by and for independent young creatives.

Philosophy: We’re passionate about what we do. We believe in asking questions. In taking risks. In big ideas. And we believe in young talent.

Personality: Watchlist comes from the leftfield, with a passion for people who’ve taken big risks to pursue their dreams. We’re here to show you new, exciting things, and the people behind them. We don’t care for celebrity. We don’t care for stereotypes. This is independent, enquiring journalism, in an age of unprecedented creative potential.
